Cover Stamping is an optional add-on feature that allows customers to personalize their yearbook by having the recipient’s name embossed directly on the front cover. This feature is available for both hardcover and softcover yearbooks, depending on your adviser’s settings.
Cover stamping adds a custom name to the bottom right corner of the yearbook cover using metallic foil (silver or gold). It’s a great way to make a yearbook feel truly special and unique to the student receiving it.
If your yearbook adviser has enabled this feature, you will see the option to add cover stamping during checkout.
On the cover stamping screen, click Edit Name and enter or update the student’s name as you would like it to appear.
Type in the students name in the pop-up window.
Click Update
Be careful: The name entered will also appear on the shipping manifest used for distributing yearbooks. Using nicknames may cause confusion at distribution.
Click Continue to add cover stamping to your order.
If you do not want cover stamping, click Proceed Without Cover Stamping to continue without personalization.
Cover stamping is available only under the following conditions:
✅ Available For:
Pre-ordered yearbooks
Yearbooks created on our Creator Studio platform
Orders shipped in bulk to a U.S. location (typically the school)
❌ Not Available For:
Published orders (books sold after final approval)
Orders shipped directly to a customer’s home
Projects created in the Legacy (Flash-based) Editor
If you meet all the requirements but do not see the cover stamping option at checkout, your yearbook adviser may have chosen to disable it.
