Enabling and Disabling Cover Stamping

Enabling and Disabling Cover Stamping

Cover Stamping is a new optional feature that can be enabled and disabled by navigating to the "Sell" tab and clicking the "Manage Sales" button.

When you first put your yearbook up for pre-order, cover stamping will be turned ON by default and silver foil will be selected. If you want to disable cover stamping, or you want to change the foil color, go to the "Product Type and Add Ons" section under "Sales Settings".

From here you will be able to toggle Cover Stamping on and off. If you leave cover stamping on, you can change the default foil color using the drop down menu. You can choose between silver or gold. If you change the color after already accepting pre-orders in another color, those previous orders will be converted to the current color selected. All books in a pre-order batch will have the same color foil.

Make sure to click the "Save" button after making changes.

If you will be offering cover stamping, please be cognizant of the name stamp area when designing your front covers. You will notice a semi-transparent area marked in the lower right corner while designing your front cover. Make sure you keep important design elements (i.e. text/images) away from this area to prevent unwanted overlapping of a student's name.

Please Note: Cover stamping can be turned on/off at any time while you are accepting pre-orders. However, if you have pre-orders in queue with cover stamping and then you turn if off, those same books will still print with cover stamping.

In addition: Cover stamping is currently only available when pre-ordering a yearbook that is created and shipped within the United States as part of a bulk order. Cover Stamping is not available for Published Orders OR orders being shipped directly to home.
