How to Unapprove a Submitted Cover (Super Admins Only)
Sometimes, a cover may need to be unlocked after it has already been submitted. Super Admins have the ability to unapprove a cover when changes are required.
๐ How to Unapprove a Cover
Go to the Ladder.

Scroll to the cover(s) you need to unapprove.

Click the ๐ Lock icon (located where the settings icon was before submission).
Select ๐ Unapprove.

The cover will now be unlocked ๐ and editable by the adviser.
๐ After You Unapprove
The adviser will regain editing access to the cover.
Any previously issued PDF proof is no longer final, and a new proof will be generated once the cover is re-submitted.
๐ Best Practices for Super Admins
๐ฃ๏ธ Communicate clearly with the adviser before unapproving so they understand why changes are needed.
โณ Keep deadlines in mind โ unapproving may delay production.
๐ผ๏ธ Encourage a final review before the adviser re-submits to avoid multiple unapprovals.
โ ๏ธ Note: Unapproving a cover should only be done when absolutely necessary to avoid delays and potential rework costs.
