How to Order Name Plate With Your Yearbook Order

How to Order Name Plate With Your Yearbook Order

Personalizing your yearbook with a custom name plate adds that special touch to your hardcover yearbook to make it uniquely yours! Here’s everything you need to know about the ordering process for name plates:

What Color Are the Name Plates?

Our name plates will be silver, providing a sleek and polished look that complements every yearbook cover.

Parent Ordering Process

Once parents have entered their student’s name and selected to purchase the yearbook, they can easily add a customized name plate to their order. Here’s how:

If your yearbook adviser has chosen to offer cover stamping, you will be offered this service during the checkout process.

From this screen, you can change the student recipient's name (changing this name will also change the name on the shipping manifest, so be careful when using nicknames, as this can cause confusion during distribution).

Once finished, simply click the "Continue" button.

If you do not want cover stamping, simply click the "Proceed Without Name Plates" button.

Character Restrictions:

Please note that the name plate allows for a maximum of 26 characters, including spaces. Emoticons, symbols, and special characters are not permitted.

This simple process makes it easy for parents to customize their yearbooks, and we're here to help every step of the way!

Shipping Information:

Personalized name plates are shipped directly to the school.

Application Tips:

Once your name plates arrive, it’s time to apply them to your yearbooks! Here are some best practices:
  • Strong Adhesive: The name plates have a very strong adhesive, which means they can only be applied once. It’s essential to plan the placement carefully before removing the adhesive backing.

  • Use a Straight Edge: For a precise application, we recommend using a ruler or another straight edge to ensure your name plate goes on straight.

  • Permanent Placement: Please remember that once the name plate is applied, it cannot be moved. Trying to remove and reapply it can damage the yearbook cover or lamination. We are not liable for any damages that occur from attempting to reposition a name plate.

Pro Tip:

We suggest applying the name plates after students have signed their yearbooks to prevent scratching or any potential damage to the cover.

With a little planning and care, your customized name plates will add a personal touch that students will love for years to come!
