For best results, Creator Studio recommends using the sRGB color space when uploading images. This ensures optimal color accuracy across both digital and printed versions of your project.
While Creator Studio may accept other RGB formats, results can vary:
Adobe RGB: Minor differences in color rendering may occur, but they are usually subtle.
ProPhoto RGB and other wide-gamut formats: These can lead to significant color distortion, both on screen and in print. We strongly advise converting these files to sRGB before uploading.
If your image is saved in a different color format, you can convert it using photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop:
Open the image in your editing program.
Convert the color profile to sRGB.
Save a copy to preserve your original file, in case you need it later.
Our printers use a six-color Indichrome system, which expands the traditional CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, black) process by adding orange and violet inks. This allows for a wider and more vibrant color range in printed books.
Tip: If you're using features like soft proofing to preview print colors, be aware that results may differ slightly since Creator Studio’s print system exceeds standard CMYK capabilities.
