What is a Section?
A Section is a way to segment your book by topic. It can consist of a single page or multiple pages. Below are some typical sections in a Yearbook:
- Title page & Intro (may include a principal’s Letter/welcome)
- Portraits (by grade or class)
- Student Life
- Sports
- Events
- Clubs
- Advertising
New sections are created by clicking the link below the covers:
You will need to select the type of section you want - Freeform, Portrait, or Ad.
Then give your section a title and choose the number of pages. Aside from the first and last page, it's a best practice to keep your sections with even pages so it's easier to move them around if you want to change the order later
By clicking the gear icon to the right of each section, your students can mark their section Ready for Review when they are done. Additionally, you may lock, rename, or delete sections as needed.
