Mark-Up Program & Revenue

Mark-Up Program & Revenue

If you're looking to raise funds for your school, club, or organization through yearbook sales, our Mark-Up Program allows you to earn profit on each yearbook sold—when using the pre-order storefront option.

⚠️ Important:
Profit is only paid out on books sold through the pre-order storefront.
Books purchased via immediate published ordering are not eligible for profit payouts.

How It Works

Any user designated as the adviser of a yearbook project can sell their book through a custom online storefront. As the adviser, you set the selling price and determine your profit margin.

Setting Your Price

We recommend that you:

  • Estimate the maximum number of pages your yearbook may require.

  • Add the desired amount of profit per book.

  • Set the final storefront price accordingly to avoid undercharging later.

Profit Payouts

Revenue from yearbook sales is distributed via profit checks emailed twice per year:

Orders FulfilledProfit Paid Out
September–DecemberFebruary
January–AugustSeptember
  • A 10% processing fee will be deducted from the total payout amount.

  • All payments will be sent to the email address listed by the adviser during storefront setup.

💡 To update your payout email address, go to the "Financial" section under Sales Settings in Creator Studio.

You may also opt out of receiving your profit check and opt to receive a voucher code for future yearbook purchases or donate your profits and we will place it into a fund for helping less fortunate schools get yearbooks.
