Team Activity Tracker

πŸ“Š Using the Team Activity Tracker

Monitor Student Contributions & Streamline Grading

The Team Activity Tracker, located in the Team module, is a powerful tool that enables advisors to track student engagement and contributions throughout the yearbook creation process. This feature is especially useful for grading, participation reviews, and ensuring accountability across the team.

βœ… What Does the Activity Tracker Do?

The Activity Tracker logs all user activity on the yearbook, making it easy to see who did what and when.

Each log entry includes:

  • Name – Who performed the action.

  • Date/Time – When the action occurred.

  • Page Name – The title of the page they worked on.

  • Page Number(s) – Specific pages associated with the action.

  • Action – Type of contribution (e.g., page edit, item removal, updated thumbnail).

Example: A student updates a page thumbnail on pages 2–3 at 1:16 PMβ€”this is logged automatically for review.

πŸ“ Exporting the Activity Log

For easy tracking, you can export the log as a CSV file, which opens in Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet software. This makes it simple to:

  • Review student activity in detail.

  • Assign participation grades.

  • Identify areas where students need help.

  • Use data in parent-teacher conferences or for documentation.

🧭 How to Access the Tracker

  1. Go to the Team module.

  2. Use the date filter to narrow down activity by day.

  3. Click Export to CSV to download the full log.

πŸ“ Training Tip

Encourage students to log in regularly and complete edits under their own accounts so their work is accurately tracked. You can even assign point values to specific actions (e.g., 5 points per page edit) to create a grading system based on effort and output.
